Have to say, I wasn't all that impressed by Germany today. Yes, they generated quality chances in the 2nd half and in extra time, but it certainly wasn't the cakewalk that many expected. Kudos to the Desert Foxes, especially their keeper.
Sets up an interesting quarterfinal: France vs. Germany, with all the history, both on the pitch and off, that that matchup entails.

That's my preferred Final matchup, but as for Oranje winning it, I'll believe it when I see it. I wouldn't be upset if Die Mannshcaft won the whole thing either.
i'm going out on a limb and assuming that nobody saw that blitzkrieg coming today, and if you did I hope you got to a sports book or a bookie before the match started. if today's result means anything going forward, Netherlands or Argentina will have a difficult time beating Germany.
I picked Germany to win today 3 - 1. I should have upped it once I knew Neymar was done.
