No not at all.....I understand what he is saying...it's just that he makes no valid argument to keep it....Like you he has one and just wants it because......????????and that is not a valid argument to keep it that's all...I know a few that have them and I give them a hard time all the time...well everyone but one of them...and I do believe he is whacko!...he went out and bought 2 just in case trump lost the election because he thought it was rigged against trump....?????? did that mean he was going to start shooting everyone who didn't vote for trump....his logic is a little out of balance for sure....and if there was ever anyone who shouldn't have a gun he is one!

but again it goes back to what several keep saying over and over on here and it STILL boils down to no valid argument to keep the assault weapon...and as for what HH brings up...guess we all agree on that.....hopefully logic will step in or else they listen to the voters!

Why does there need to be an argument to keep an assault weapon. There doesnt. Thats what living in a free country is about.

Just like you dont need any argument to say you want to own a car with 600hp or a truck with 48" inch tires. Nobody needs that....its not a need its a want and in a free country if you want it and its legal then you can buy it.

those items are not used for mass *******......just a little different there wouldn't you think......besides even if you have a car with 600hp...you still have laws and restrictions....same with the truck with big tires.......you have to fit a bumper that is the same height as a normal car ( in a lot of states?...Everything has limits and restrictions and laws.......yes you can own all kinds of guns...just not military guns ( in some states)

but I'm sure nimrod will tell you that it is the left that put all those laws and restrictions in there

we are a society of laws...and had to be.....100 years ago had the AR been around nothing said probably....but as we grew and developed.......we also got more and more nimrods and whacko's....it became necessary to have more and more laws!

No i dont think its any different. Its the same liberal mindset that is taking over and being taught at all levels of public education. That being if a few bad apples do something then the rest of society has to suffer. And we already have gun laws....lots of them. But yet it doesnt stop those hell bent on killing. And again....yes you can own military guns....there are all kinds of military guns besides the AR. Just so happens the AR type weapons happen to be popular with with not only law abiding citizens but those looking to ******* so lets ban it is the knee jerk reaction. Then my question is this. The next 20 people that are killed with a glock, then what do you say.....well at least it wasnt an AR. Does that make it OK.

Was the Virginia tech shooting OK....i mean it must of been cause the guy didnt use an assault weapon. So when the AR is no more and the shootings continue u damn well know what the next step is..well we gotta limit handguns to non semi automatics or no magazines greater than 10 rounds. Or shotguns gotta be limited to single or double barrels....no more semi auto's etc.....it never ends.

but we have laws governing everything pretty much BUT guns...the gun manuf could have worked out some kind of deal a long time ago and refused...to them it is all about sales and money...dead children mean nothing to them...it's the money...one of these days things will take a swing...and we might lose more than we want to give up...like the ones HH brings up...some of those assholes know nothing about guns...they just look at charts or whatever and say yes that one goes also!
we need to use some logic here before it gets out of hand!

...... Obama was a more sincere President than any of the last six presidents we've had in the last 3 decades, starting with Reagan - forward. ALL of them! Obama was simply the first to be false imaged by false, misleading media ... people tend to retain the negatives they hear of Presidents they didn't vote for, and believe every word from the ones they did. Obama was hated by Republicans because he was black, and they couldn't accept that John McCain & Sarah Palin didn't win the 2008 election against a black man. Had the 2016 elections been run fairly, a woman would have beat them out as well. At least Hillary would have a "working cabinet" in Washington. Look what Trump's drained the swamp and filled it back in with ... a bunch of rouges.

No because as soon as you give in and let them take the AR....thats just the beginning. Thats what i been saying all along. They only way to truely end gun violence is to eliminate all guns ....period . I believe thats the end game of some anti gun people in government. Will it happen....unlikely but i dont want to see it start.
