a little more on the racist legacy of the american south. the white racists were obsessed with the idea of protecting the "purity" of white womanhood. i'm sure that had a lot to do with the guilt white men felt for their decades of exploitation of black women. but the old south was flooded with propaganda creating anxiety about black men and white women getting together.
and that spilled over into outright racist agitation by groups like the ku klux klan and the "white citizens council"

There wasn't a dateline for this article, but it occured in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Indiana was the major hub of KKK activity in the 1920's and 1930's, which flies in the face of those who like to believe and preach that racism and discrimination was neatly contained within the borders of the states that compromised the Confederacy.
They must be in the minority then because I haven't met a white man (who wasn't gay) yet that wouldn't want to fuck a good looking black girl just as they would want to fuck a good looking female of ANY other race.
