EXCLUSIVE: Donations, Including International Funding, to BlackLivesMatter.com Go Directly to the DNC – This Is Money Laundering

LOL this article is hilarious in how badly it was researched.

ActBlue is a payment processor for donations -- it's basically GoFundMe for non-profits, especially left-leaning ones. BLM donations get processed by ActBlue, but they don't go to the DNC.

This is article is like saying my GoFundMe donations for a friend with cancer were money laundering for the RNC because someone was running a donation for school vouchers on there. Or that paying for something on eBay with PayPal is money laundering because PayPal processes some NRA donations.

Both are dangerous.
One is protest- a protected right. The other is not a right and controlled by laws. Easy.
People have risked a lot more than illness protesting for rights or to be heard. Fire hoses, police dogs, bullets, rocks, tear gas, beatings, etc. Have been endured in order to be heard.
It's easy to fall for bullshit when you don't know your own history.

You are right Ed, but you don't just risk your own life when you protest. It could have waited a few weeks, over here at least, in my view. The situation is more heated in the states after the horrendous ******* of Mr Floyd.

On another note, we had a BLM march, protesting against police *******, two weeks ago and 27 police were hospitalised. They threw a statue into a dock and sprayed the statue of Churchill with anti racist slogans. Need I tell you how Churchill is viewed over here? There was much damage.

The following week, a smaller number of protesters (mainly Veterans) met at the cenotaph to protect the statues (there had been threats by BLM all week that statues would be toppled) They were met by gangs of black youths, who attacked and beat some of them. The Veterans were threatened with arrest of they didn't move on. THEY were seen as the threat to law and order. There were no weapons and many of them were in their eighties and had travelled from all over the UK to protest at the treatment that Britain's heritage had received.

One group of decent guys saved the life of a veteran who was being beaten. The image of the guy carrying the veteran was all over the press the next day and the veteran was described as a far right protester in the press...

I never thought I would question the impartiality of the BBC. The problem here is that, by allying themselves with far left groups like the socialist workers party who were at the first demo, BLM risks a public relations disaster that will put back its cause.

The Trump administration is standing firm and will reportedly “not allow” the Emancipation Memorial to be destroyed by activists, who recently publicized their plans to tear it down.

(CNSNews.com) - When asked whether biological males who claim to be female should be allowed to participate in sports for biological females, Sen. James Lankford (R-Okla.) said transgender participation “violates the spirit of what Title IX was all about,” adding that Title IX was about ensuring there is equal access for men and women to get into sports.

Cornell University slammed for allegedly donating student fees to Black Lives Matter

In a letter to the editor published by The Cornell Sun, one student blasted the Ivy League's Student Activities Funding Commission after it allegedly gave $10,000 to the Cornell Students for Black Lives fundraiser using mandatory student fees, without first telling the student body.

Cornell Students for Black Lives is not a registered student club, according to the letter, but a fundraising group that collected donations to distribute to Black Lives Matter of Greater New York, Communities United for Police Reform, NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund, Southside Community Center, and Tompkins County Showing Up for Racial Justice.

(CNS News) -- Despite her harsh criticisms of President Donald Trump and strong support for Black Lives Matter, on July 8 D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said the City Council’s proposed $15 million in cuts to the Metropolitan Police Department will make the District “less safe.” Despite the goal of Black Lives Matter to defund or reinvent police forces, Bowser supports a wider police presence in the District.

In a July 4 letter to the D.C. City Council, Bowser said, “The Council also proposes to reduce nearly $10 million from the Metropolitan Police Department’s (MPD) budget. This reduction would result in a level of sworn officers that has not been seen in DC since the 1990s, with seemingly no analysis on the impact this cut would have on the deployment of officers, officer response times to calls for service, and on community and neighborhood safety.”

This is an honest article by a white democrat politician:

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/09/opinion/minneapolis-hodges-racism.html?

Why are cities controlled by democrats in a mess? Because of what she does not say directly, but essentially is: NIMBYism.

White liberals may consistently pay the correct lip service, but they do not support the substantive structural changes to education, employment, etc “that don’t simply prioritize protecting white property and lives”.

As she says, “white people have been trading genuine connectedness... for the poor substitute of property values”.

Can’t tell you how true this is.

That’s why I detest democrats and the so-called left.

I loathe these democrats so much, I truly would prefer to sell my vote to the highest bidder. For $100k I could definitely be bought to vote Republican.

I don’t live on a farm or hob nob in country clubs, and this is not likely to change for the rest of my life, so I rarely face Republican hypocrisy up front. But most of my life has been affected by these shitty democrats in cities and in PTAs. Progressive parents are every bit as hypocritical as the evangelists of the religious right. Even worse, I can’t shut them out by refusing to attend church. I had to deal with these garbage humans (lots of big and small Karens, nearly all white) and their shitty entitled brats all the time until I got out of the US.

Like Betsy, whom I know, I am a Democrat and product of Minneapolis. I agree with her about 95% in this opinion piece. Her husband is a black man, and active Democrat too. So her perspective as a woman, liberal, former Mayor, and wife to a black man is something that should be really listened to. Understand, Minneapolis is pretty far left by any standards. Democrats lose to Green Party candidates, this is Congresswoman Illhan Omar's district. Maybe other big cities like Portland, Seattle or Austin come close.
I think the gist of the piece is:
As the mayor of Minneapolis from 2014 to 2018, as a Minneapolis City Council member from 2006 until 2014 and as a white Democrat, I can say this: White liberals, despite believing we are saying and doing the right things, have resisted the systemic changes our cities have needed for decades. We have mostly settled for illusions of change, like testing pilot programs and funding volunteer opportunities.
These efforts make us feel better about racism, but fundamentally change little for the communities of color whose disadvantages often come from the hoarding of advantage by mostly white neighborhoods.
In Minneapolis, the white liberals I represented as a Council member and mayor were very supportive of summer jobs programs that benefited young people of color. I also saw them fight every proposal to fundamentally change how we provide education to those same young people. They applauded restoring funding for the rental assistance hotline. They also signed petitions and brought lawsuits against sweeping reform to zoning laws that would promote housing affordability and integration.

So we live in a political state where the Republicans do absolutely nothing, and the Democrats do not do enough- without being pushed. For me, Betsy, and others, it's why we choose Democrats. Getting involved and pushing ahead five steps, is a lot easier than getting involved and being completely ignored.

(CNS News) -- John Durham, the U.S. attorney assigned by Attorney General William Barr to look into the FBI's surveillance of the Trump campaign in 2016-17, today charged former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith with one felony count of allegedly willfully altering a government document and knowing that it contained a "false, fictitious, and fraudulent statement."

That altered document was then used by the FBI to obtain a warrant from the secret FISA court to continue spying on a Trump campaign official, "Individual #1," according to Durham's indictment.

Good point, maybe somebody should tell the BLM crowd who are crying about statues until they are removed. They dont seem to know the history of what the are asking to be removed

This is accurate as all fuck, but it's the centrist democrats who care more about decorum and property values than they do about equality or social good.

The entire reason the "left" exists and does things like primary centrist dems is over this kind of *******.
