For those that want to know,
I know what Libertarians stand for, TwoBi ... its that 90+%, called the sheep voters, that need the information. The reason we have Trump as a president now is because of them. They seek out no information ... simply follow the lead dogs. I have several issues with Libertarian beliefs, and the elimination of taxes & the governments ability to maintain a revenue source is but one of them. We simply can't maintain a country without revenue. Health care, a parent's right to raise their children as they see fit, an unrestricted internet & gun ownership, etc ... all present a crop of issues. No doubt, many of the people would fall in a 'norm' of reasonable accesses, but there is that 20-30% who will push the issues that I have mentioned to the limits. We can't give our citizens the "freedom" to live their lives as they see fit without infringing on the rights of those with dissimilar ideas. There has to be regimentation of some kind.

I know, and I never said you didn't, I said for those who want to know. Therefor, the link.

the elimination of taxes & the governments ability to maintain a revenue source is but one of them. We simply can't maintain a country without revenue.

We can and we have, income tax wasn't imposed until 1861, the government paid for itself with other forms of tax/donations. There are many other ways to tax without simply taking ones hard earned money. Sales tax and luxury tax should be the biggest, Corporate tax should also be a big one, leave the hard worker alone. The only reason we can't survive now without a huge revenue is because all those sheep you mention think the government should pay their way, like free healthcare, free housing, free food, free higher education, free, free, free. Why do you think our taxes keep going up? BTW, Another term for people that want everything provided for, make all their decisions, and heavily taxed is called a "Serf".

parent's right to raise their children as they see fit
You don't think you should have the right to raise your children as you see fit? What if some senator decides all children should were pants on even days and dresses on odd days -regardless of sexual orientation, you wouldn't have an issue with that because the government said it should be so? We aren't saying you should have the right to beat, neglect, or abuse your children.

an unrestricted internet & gun ownership,
I thought the left was for net neutrality?? You don't want a free information internet, should it be censored like China? So only The Huffington post news can be viewed and not FOX? The gun ownership again I go back to personal responsibility. There is none today. And yes, there is a large number that would push it to the limits but with a strong hand I think we can keep that to a min. (unlike the feather whip we use today.) I believe if people (in the past) were strictly held accountable for their actions that effect others, people today would be a lot more responsible and respectful.

We can't give our citizens the "freedom" to live their lives as they see fit without infringing on the rights of those with dissimilar ideas. There has to be regimentation of some kind.

Not sure if you read that link in it's entirety. There is regulation, You are free to live your life as you see fit as long as it does NOT infringe on the rights of others. In short, If I want to ******* a 64oz soft *******, knowing the risk, I should be able to ******* it. If YOUR tax dollars aren't paying for MY healthcare, it shouldn't matter to you. It also means that if I don't want to sell my product (as a private business) to a green man from space, I have the right to deny service, no law can ******* me (and the green man has the right to buy else where)- however I must accept whatever happens as a result, like loss of revenue (personal responsibility) It doesn't mean I have the right to go do donuts in your front yard, or speed down your street at 85mph, or make a law that forces you to to go to church (or prevents you from going).

I understand where you are coming from and I'm not trying to change your mind here. There are far to many factors on each topic we couldn't possibly touch on all of them. But what I don't understand is why you don't want to live in a free society. Why do you feel that you (or someone) should have the right to impose on; and tell others how to live? You want the government to tax and regulate everything, but yet you claim to dis-like socialism - in essence, that is what socialism is. Just doesn't make sense to me.

We can and we have, income tax wasn't imposed until 1861, the government paid for itself with other forms of tax/donations

Lincoln created it to pay for the civil war...but it was done away with after a few years and then re-instated again..permanent this time

There are many other ways to tax without simply taking ones hard earned money. Sales tax and luxury tax should be the biggest, Corporate tax should also be a big one, leave the hard worker alone.

damn we can agree on something....something that is fair and hits everyone equal!
sales tax hits everyone and it's fair....corporate tax for infrastructure, schools, and etc

The only reason we can't survive now without a huge revenue is because all those sheep you mention think the government should pay their way, like free healthcare, free housing, free food, free higher education, free, free, free

I don't have a problem with people paying their own way...as it should be...years ago people had pride and didn't like the handouts...people just got used to it now....but then again all that goes back to paying a living wage!....with benefits or enough that they can afford to buy their own

and heavily taxed is called a "Serf".
that's from the days of ol'

also...what happened to the days when you trusted your gov to look out for you?
the people now in charge of most of these agencies are the most corrupt in history

EPA keeps scientists from speaking about report on climate
Associated Press MICHELLE R. SMITH,Associated Press

The Environmental Protection Agency kept three scientists from speaking at a Monday event in a move condemned by researchers and Democratic members of Congress as an attempt by the agency to silence a discussion of climate change.

The scientists were scheduled to discuss a report on the health of Narragansett Bay, New England's largest estuary. Among the findings in the 500-page report is that climate change is affecting air and water temperatures, precipitation, sea level and fish.

but then again all that goes back to paying a living wage!
I don't mind paying a living wadge - if the person is worth it. In the past week - Olive Garden, order was wrong, waited forever, dirty silverware. Took Grand ******* to Steak and shake, Got the ******* shake order wrong, Ordered BW's last night, an internet order i.e. WORDS ON A SCREEN, Order was wrong when we picked it up. Not all jobs are meant to be "living wadge" jobs. But if I must pay them that, then I better be allowed to be very selective in who retains employment.

But if I must pay them that, then I better be allowed to be very selective in who retains employment

that goes without saying....but I would think if those people paid more they might get a better quality of help...if they choose to keep those people I would think after a while the sales would slip and they would have to question why!?

I'm just not for wall street...Wal-Mart and etc getting big funds to pay a minimum wage that we have to subsidize in the end anyway

remember years ago.....people didn't have the skill to do a certain job.....the gov gave that company a certain amount of money to hire that person and train him for..6months?....after that the employer was obligated to hire the person at the right wage if the employee worked out...but they just couldn't get rid of them when the time was up and get another to start again....bring that back if need be...instead of giving wal mart millions every year AND paying the individual food stamps and etc because he doesn't make enough!

there ARE ways to fix this!

go back to doing what is right for the country and not something that just benefits a few
a well paid worker is what makes the country go!

Just one of the many reason we don't shop at Wal-Mart

regretfully I do on occasion..it's 5 miles to Broken Arrow one way...and 5 miles the other to Coweta...Wal-mart is 1/2 mile down the highway...so if we need something quick....????
you know my neighbors ******* works there...he makes almost 15.00 an hour?

But still not defending them...hate what they get away with

for us you need a dozen eggs or a gal of milk...it's either them or QT!
or make the drive!

BUT we don't go there usually.....momma goes into Broken Arrow...health nut...goes to sprouts!..no chemicals etc!

wal mart is smart in some of their locations around here....went to a car show NE of here a week ago.....out in the middle of nowhere...another big wal mart....give them credit for being smart in that....but what pisses me off about them when they set one up in the city...it usually drives out all the mom-pop stores that have been there for years...that is shady as fuck!

Gallup: 85% consider gun control in choosing who to vote for
UPI 12 hours ago

Oct. 23 (UPI) -- More than 85 percent of U.S. registered voters factor gun control into deciding who to support for major offices, according to a Gallup poll. In the poll, 24 percent said say they would vote only for a candidate who shares their views on gun control -- compared with 26 percent in 2015, the last time the question was asked. In 2000, 11 percent said they'd vote for candidates based on this single issue. In the latest poll, 61 percent responded it is one of many factors in choosing a candidate, an increase from 54 percent two years ago. Those saying gun control is not a voting issue dropped to a new low of 12 percent. Gallup's annual crime survey of 890 adults was conducted Oct. ...

with a republican in the white house the right/NRA can not push their fear and paranoia on the public .....you can actually buy things now......they built a strip mall up on the highway a year or so ago.....several fast foodplaces..tanning store...and a sporting goods store...went into sporting goods store looking for an old highway patrol .38..so I can shoot buckshot at snakes and rats and etc.....ALL the shelves just full of ammo!...haven't seen that in a long time

Paul Ryan-aligned super PAC preps for battle in Texas
Miami Herald

A super PAC aligned with House Speaker Paul Ryan is opening two field offices in Texas, aimed at protecting vulnerable incumbent Republicans San Antonio Rep. Will Hurd and Houston area Rep. John Culberson. Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton won both congressional districts in 2016, and Democrats’ House campaign arm has named Hurd and Culberson top targets in the party’s effort to win control of the House next year. The Ryan-linked Congressional Leadership Fund, whose goal is to retain the GOP’s House majority, plans to spend $100 million promoting House Republican candidates across the country. The decision to go into Texas, more than a year ahead of the midterm elections, could ...

Democratic Challengers to House GOP Incumbents Raising Some Serious Dough
NYMag.com 12

As the 2018 midterm elections approach, people in and beyond both parties are reading tea leaves for signs of what might transpire, particularly in the pivotal U.S. House races that could break up the GOP’s governing trifecta in Washington. So Politico’s report today on broad-based earlier fundraising success for Democratic House challengers is a drop of water to those thirsty for data: Animated by opposition to President Donald Trump and the Republican congressional majorities, at least 162 Democratic candidates in 82 GOP-held districts have raised over $100,000 so far this year, according to a POLITICO analysis of the latest FEC data. That’s about four times as many candidates as House Democrats ...

Simply despicable.
I have been following these guys for a few years now, they have some good videos on tips on farming and gardening (for you millennial's - a Farm is where your food comes from) No government should have this kind of power. Unfortunately this is pretty much world wide. Just one prime example of why I am pro-small government - they do not know what is best. You can't convince me that the people of Sweden will suffer greatly unless this company is allowed to strip the land of it's Cobalt. It's all about the $$$$$.

Anyone that believes the government is working for you is a fool.

Donald Trump's Ego Undermines The GOP Tax Agenda
HuffPost Arthur Delaney,HuffPost

President Donald Trump has delivered a series of speeches promoting the Republican tax reform agenda and a series of tweets undercutting it.

Trump’s speeches focus on how the his party’s tax plan, which has only been sketched in broad outlines, would cut business taxes in a way that would ultimately help working families.

In an effort to replace some of the missing revenue from that corporate tax cut, however, Republicans want to do away with a number of expensive tax breaks that help middle-class families, ostensibly while still delivering the middle class a net benefit.

On Monday, apparently in response to Democrats warning that Republicans might restrict a tax break on retirement savings, Trump said the proposal was off the table.

On Monday, apparently in response to Democrats warning that Republicans might restrict a tax break on retirement savings, Trump said the proposal was off the table.

“There will be NO change to your 401(k),” Trump tweeted. “This has always been a great and popular middle-class tax break that works, and it stays!”

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), who has feuded with Trump lately, complained about the president “taking things off the table” during a TV interview on Tuesday.

“Tax writing committees in the Senate and the House are going to be laying out the $4 trillion in loophole closings that need to take place,” Corker said. “Hopefully the White House will step aside and let that occur in a normal process.”

Trump’s “normal process” includes responding to every insult, and that’s what he did after seeing Corker’s interview:

He also tweeted that Corker, who recently announced he wouldn’t seek a third term next year, “couldn’t get elected dog catcher in Tennessee.”

A similar pattern played out earlier this year when Republicans tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act. After the House passed a plan to repeal Obamacare that Trump initially hailed, he later characterized some of its details as “mean.” The repeal effort ultimately failed.

Trump is visiting the Senate on Tuesday to talk tax reform over lunch with the Republican caucus. Corker said Trump’s visit is superficial.

“I think it’s fine for him to come over,” Corker said. “I look at these things as more of a photo op. They’re not really about substance.”

Corker has previously criticized the tax plan for being projected to add more than $1 trillion to the federal budget deficit. Still, he did not a oppose a recent budget vote that will pave the way for the tax reform push to proceed in the Senate without Democrats being able to block it.

So far out of context, you guys will try anything to re-direct the blame. For one thing you are stating the first half of the meme to what caused them to be killed and comparing it to a retarded statement made by Trump after the other 4 get killed. That's not even Apples to Oranges, that's more like comparing the size of Russia to the size of Kansas and trying to convince us it is the same thing. You can do better than that.

But here again, the time line of what actually took place and it's all verifiable. (but I'm sure at least one person here won't bother to check).

And by the way - in no manner am I trying to say Trump should not be held accountable. But like I repeatedly said - no one has been held accountable since Water gate.
