It's going mainstream. For example, there are rumors that the next Superman will be Black. And we've all heard that the next James Bond will be Black as well.
Regarding interracial relationships being next, don't blink, it's already here. Jessica Jones is but one example. It doesn't take a very long to find scenes in mainstream movies where a Black guy has a white woman, and increasingly that woman is married.
This is Hollywood's attempt to adjust to perceived social norms. While interracial relationships are becoming commonplace on the West Coast and Northeast, I would say that their perception is flawed, just like a lot of other perceptions about what Middle America considers normal.
I would argue that the area between the Rocky's and Appalachian Mountains, sweeping into the deep South you'd find that interracial relationships are not nearly as common as one would be led to believe. This is excepting of course, major population centers like Chicago, Dallas and other large cities.
I believe that a woman should be free to use her body as she sees fit. If she isn't married, it's no ones business who she allows to have her. If she is married, then it should be discussed between the husband and wife. If both agree, then again, she should feel free to experience anyone, including Blacks, she so desires.
This is the type of relationship my husband and I have, so this isn't wishful thinking or theory. We discussed it, made a decision and now I enjoy a Black lover on a regular basis.
So yes, it is becoming mainstream. Increasingly so. In time, it will move into more conservative areas. It's only a matter of time!

Have you seen the subliminal in the up coming movie, "Hitman's wife's bodyguard" starring Salma Hayek? Watch the trailer towards the end, literally the last scene. Hayek falls over onto Samuel L jacksons crotch (BBC) and Ryan Reynolds falls over onto Hayek's ass (Cuck) I'd love to see salma get a bbc.

Across the nation the trend is to become less receptive and more restrictive. Even the US Supreme Court is rolling back voting, abortion and minority rights.
And Florida is a hotbed for these restrictions on your behavior. How long do you think it will be, before the Florida starts cracking down on swinger clubs, internet sites, etc? Seriously, this state is aiming to role back social behavior to the 1950's. And we are heading back to propaganda indoctrinating religion and conservative politics.
Today an IR couple must live socially in a bubble. You experience public slights and anger from every race and you are a social curiosity wherever you go.

I don't want to hijack this thread by debating you, but you may be right.
The only thing I have to go by is seeing a dramatic increase in women in their mid-30s with interracial babies. Not a huge groundswell, but a notable increase.
I work near the University of Central Florida. For every two white couples I see, there is an interracial couple, leading me to believe that the generation now entering adulthood is finding it increasingly acceptable.
When I watch television or go to the movies, traditional white rolls are being occupied by black actors. It's very difficult to see a string of commercials without at least one black actor.
The AIr ******* Chief of Staff and the Secretary of Defense are both black, indicating increasing presence in government and business.
You are right in that Florida is a hotbed of discontent. One only has to read about the riots sweeping through Miami, Tampa and Orlando to see that. The cities are practically buring day and night.
