There is something in the genetics of women that can contribute to nice, round asses. Not to get all technical, it's called "steatopygia" and is more prominent in black women. Just recalled this after taking one year of pre-med classes a long time ago!

It’s the food and current lifestyle. 20-30 years ago people were skinnier. Including men. More chemicals, sugar, growth hormones pumped in the meat, and portions eaten has cause our society to have bigger everything. One of the reasons why girls are hitting puberty at a younger age. More obese people. More physical health problems. It’s the food. You can’t even eat fruit without it being modified.
