This thread is going way off the rails.... Here's some observations....
First, the "OK" hand gesture IS NOT a symbol of "white supremacy". In fact, there's a game that is played, it's something I played as a kid, trying to get people to look at that symbol was part of the game.... Do some white supremacists use it? I don't know, maybe, I find it doubtful, and would like to know more about why that is a belief...
Secondly, having and displaying a Confederate battle flag does not make one racist in any way shape or form... How would you automatically assume that person is "racist" when they display that flag? There are many people here who have things like this for many reasons, such as to stay in touch with history, not allowing it to repeat itself... Others are collectors of genuine artifacts... In fact, a VERY small number of people have/display these things as a statement of their "racism". Same goes with authentic WW2 Nazi items...

There's 1572 pages of this thread, and it's mostly mudslinging, name calling, and divisive language towards each other.... One of the reasons why I backed off some... I fully believe that politicians in either party need division, without it, they can't survive politically... If we as Americans would just unite, we could actually drain that swamp...
We're all Americans, we're all in this together, sure, we're going to have differences, but divided we will surely fall, we can't let that happen...

1. I shown enough pictures of them using it (hand gesture). I am glad you admitted that you don't know much about white supremacist using the symbols. When military people tried to flash that same gesture on live television it was investigated on due to the serious nature that hate groups is not so welcome in the military( they try you know).
That game you speak of is not that old but I thought I showed enough pictures of groups that would have helped.

I am for preventative methods for this never happen again.

My approach is different as I am actually showing empathy and seeking solutions as we all should as Americans.
You're right, we should seek solutions... Like I said, we have to be united as Americans, see what the politicians are doing, they're dividing us for their own gain, and we can't let that happen. The key is the individual states... That's where our power lies in this country.

The Confederate Battle Flag wasn't racist. The rectangular Stars & Bars adopted by racist groups WAS.
I read the chart just fine and its wrong and the implications are wrong. For example, how does the suppression of Voting & Gerrymandering voting districts not apply to restrictions of freedom? I can give you lots of examples of suppression of freedoms that originate from the Right, and the Right simply deny it as they continue to suppress voters rights. Look at what Wisconsin did just THIS week with voter suppression. It now surpasses North Carolina with the most restrictive/suppression of voting rights. That's saying a lot seeing as I live in NC.
That aside, Communism & Fascism mean almost the complete opposite; they can't be on the same side of the chart. Trump's the one wishing to fraud a valid election and install a dictatorship, and the one who slept with a book of Hitler's speeches at his bedside. Republicans are supporting him in that endeavor and just as guilty as Trump for covering his antics up.
