As a reminder, they also changed the way it was measured moving from a two year average to a one year average and creating a new rent weight and emphasizing used car prices more heavily, all things that are expected to SHOW a decrease in CPI with the goal of perpetuating the lie the Biden administration has the economy under control.

Yes, when in any kind of crisis, like inflation, a shorter period of measurement will reflect positive or negative policy change. Since CPI is one of two ways we measure the impact of inflation, it makes sense.
As of now, it appears Joe Biden is the first president in history to manage us out of inflation.
Inflation is not a recession. It's counter-intuitive to laymen. In other words, slightly raising interest rates, helps keep inflation from rising or a slip into a recession. High employment numbers are not good for inflation. However, Joe is finding a way.
Again economics.
