As a reminder, they also changed the way it was measured moving from a two year average to a one year average and creating a new rent weight and emphasizing used car prices more heavily, all things that are expected to SHOW a decrease in CPI with the goal of perpetuating the lie the Biden administration has the economy under control.

They changed how CPI is calculated. It was calculated using the trailing two years of data. It is NOW calculated using ONE year of data. They effectively removed some of the worst inflation data ever from the calculation which will have a lowering effect.

I do think Republicans should start courting Muslims and catholic migrants more aggressively because they generally share a similar traditional set or moral values that the rest of the gender weirdos do not.
That is not a good explanation at all. You are effectively saying "the number would look bad" and because it would still show as high "we are to stupid to fix it without first changing the way we measure it". Is that the best you can do?
