I think what it boils down to..... some of these people on the right lack the gonads to take care of themselves... so they need long powerful objects to make up for their shortcomings.... now they can sit back and shoot off at the mouth over one thing or another... and whip out their long powerful objects

went to an antique car show last night with a friend... he parked his car and in the mean time someone came over upset about the parking... it got kind of heated so I went back over there... the bully got a funny look and walked off.... my friend said the only way he would get close enough to swing was if he missed... pulled up his shirt and had a gun stuffed in his pants... at a damn family event... go figure... but it was slow in this area last night... home break-in and all they did was shoot the families dog.... and another ... a 20 year old kid walking down the street and a car pulled up and said something the kid stepped up to the car and someone shot him in the chest!

I'm not saying nothing should be done. I just want to go after the REAL problem and not the symptom. Going after the gun is simply a band-aid. it will do nothing but give people a false sense security and or accomplishment. Go into any pharmacy and you will see at least 2 isles dedicated to medicines that treat your cold and flu symptoms - but NONE of them cure it. Soon we will have rows and rows of LAWs that do nothing but treat the symptoms of gun violence and violence in general, but NOTHING on that shelf will cure it.
BUT with the increase of guns seems to have increased the gun violence.... I don't want to part with any of my guns... and don't want my sons to lose the ability to do everything I have done.... but the shototings have just gotten out of hand

That is part of it, yes.
it might get a lot of ******* off the streets... I know I'm pretty liberal... but I think everyone at heart would rather work and have a normal life rather than be in a gang out.....?
there are a lot of bad apples out there going to do whatever no matter what is done.... they will get guns ... ******* doesn't matter.... but getting some off the streets would be a start.... just like one of those ******* killed by police a while back.... he had been on the streets and had a bad rap... but had landed a job and was to start the next week.... a week short!

So I guess you can say he has done something for the economy. Gun sales have set records every year that he has been in office. They will probably double if any of the three main candidates get in. Sanders is an avowed socialist. Clinton has made no secret of her desire to outlaw as many guns and self-defense supplies as possible. Trump has said in the past that he is against this gun and that weapon and that ammo. Now he says the second amendment is inviolate . . . within parameters that he approves of. Nobody believes or trusts what he says now.
Gun sales will shoot up even more after this farce of an election. I know I am looking to add several to my collection, of all types and capabilities.

Actually, when you post out in public for all to see, if I have an opinion on it, I am going to post. I am not just going to hide in a corner and pretend I don't have anything to say just so I don't hurt your feelings.
And honestly, if you didn't care what I said, you wouldn't be getting so bent out of shape over nothing and concluding evil intentions when there are none.
As for me being a person with a lot of issues, I have some, as does everyone. But you know one thing I have noticed as a general observation (not specific to you and including myself) is that those who complain the loudest about something someone else does or has, often do the thing or have the condition they are complaining about. Remember, when you point a finger at someone, 4 more point right back at you (again, general observation).
So, in conclusion, I am not following you around and I am not trying to bother you. I am simply posting on something you posted in a public forum. If what I say bothers you, maybe you should examine if you are reading too much into things.
I know you don't care what I say, but in self defense, I did make one or two posts in support of things you said yesterday.
It's because that's ALL they got to do ... they have no platform the majority of voters support. Lie, deceive, redirect, create fear ... that's their strategy to victory ... LIE in public .... get called on their lies, they retract their lies in private when there isn't a large crowd to cheer them on. And with Donald Trump, it will be magnified 10X ... its going to get interesting between now and November for sure.
Not yet, but that is just it - they are buying them BEFORE they are ban. And it is quite possible after the nut case in Orlando the AR-15 will no longer be available THAT is why the gun sales increased.

I posted those pics because of the constant comments regarding the illegalities of purchasing of automatic weapons ... takes 3 minutes to make an automatic weapon and those aren't being outlawed. Its a way around the law and the NRA endorses them.
