I was watching an old (1991) TV show that used "cuckold" in its dialog. The phrase used was "you've been cuckold."

My question is, if a wife has cuckolded her husband, has he been cuckolded or cuckold?

He has been cuckolded, therefore he is a cuckold.

That is kind of what I thought. Seemed funny when it was said.
