The following post is very incomplete. I’m basically evaluating porn video covers. Remember, in the days before it was easy to get pirated porn online, I would have to actually go to a shop and look. This was the ‘videotape days’ when you actually had to press down on the remote control to fast forward, and couldn’t skip to the next scene with just one click. Also I didn’t have the money or time to buy 1000 videos, figure out what was good, and dump the 950 lousiest ones. So it was very important that a video cover be attractive yet adequately representative of the contents.
What I find so erotic (and not so erotic) about various interracial or hardcore porn covers:
Gangbang Girl 22: Dina Jewel is in bikini, posing sexily, surrounded by firefighters.
Good: woman the center of attention, exactly what I want to see in a gangbang. Her bodily is sexily posed. I’m not turned on looking at her per se, but I am turned on thinking that it could be me sexily posing waiting for a gangbang at the hands of macho firefighters! Men are dressed in macho outfits.
Bad: the men only touch her below the knees. This is clearly a male-centered picture that tries to display maximum female flesh for visually oriented guys. From my (and female) POV, we want to be touched, not to be held at a distance and displayed!
GBG30: Kacey skimpily clad, men fully dressed. Correct. I don’t get turned on by the woman, but I do identify with the actress, and I want to feel that she’s the subject of sexual attention. I am not turned on by another woman’s tits being visible through her underwear, but I want the sense that she’s displaying herself and getting ready for sex.
Bad: the guys are dressed in low status, non dominant clothing. Cheap gray shirts? Pathetic!
Bad: no physical contact, no reassurance that they’re taking control of the bitch.
GBG31:
GBG32: Gauge in cheerleading outfit holding up her skirt, surrounded by men in helmets.
Gd: display of sexual availability. Her crotch/ panties are at the center of the cover. It’s all about being a woman and being targeted.
Gd: the guys are dressed in macho uniforms.
Bad: they don’t look dominant and they don’t take control. They look like they’re kneeling around some porn goddess, not quite daring to touch her.
Gangland 1: Chloe is nearly naked surrounded by 3 black men with menacing looks.
Gd: surround the woman; she should be the one exposed.
Bad: the men are not dressed in high status, or high machismo clothing. And Chloe has her hands on their waists, as though she’s the dominatrix taking them and not the other way around. It doesn’t help that she’s wearing black leather panties. Would look better if she was wearing vulnerable looking, feminine looking white lace panties, in juxtaposition to the black men’s black clothes.
Gangland White Boy Stomp 1: Adina Jewel is surrounded by white men. One touches her pussy, one her right tit, one her left thigh. She is in a short and revealing dress.
Gd: exactly, take control of the bitch. Show what you want – her body. I didn’t watch this because I don’t identify with black girls and don’t care to watch white guys bang black girls. But cover is right – they’re acknowledging her sexually.
Bad: loser outfits on the men. Why do porn dorks like to wear t-shirts so much? No T-shirts! Morons!
Side comment: IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DRESS LIKE A DOMINANT MAN, YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO BE A DOMINANT MAN. IN WHICH CASE YOU SHOULD JUST FUCK OFF.
Gangland 2: Tricia topless and surrounded by black men.
Not sure why, but this doesn’t do it for me. The expression on her face seems too posed.
Gangland 3: Inari Vachs with legs apart, showing panties, surrounded by black men.
Again it doesn’t work. The black guys look a bit more macho with their jackets, but the cutout nature of the video cover seems too artificial. I don’t get a sense of threat/ power. The black guy under the number 3 (third from left) seems too dorky. If Inari is wearing a skimpy black lace panty, it would look nicer if the guys had bulges in their pants pointing straight at her crotch.
Gangland 4: Jade Marcela in red underwear with four black men.
Bad: she’s touching their faces. Where is the domination? I have watched this before, I know the acting is much better for the scenes than what the cover implies. The lighting is too bright, so the black skins aren’t really dark and menacing or contrasting with her skin colour. It doesn’t help that she’s Asian so she’s practically the same colour as that ‘high yellow’ black guy on her left.
Good: one guy is holding her waist, and he happens to be the most aggressive looking.
Gangland 5: Dolly Golden crouching in heels in front of 3 blacks, legs wide apart and pussy exposed. Tits are popping out of her top. One black guy has finger in her mouth.
Good: I like this cover. Appropriate role for the white – to be open and available. I don’t need to stare at her pussy to get aroused unlike a man, but I want to see her pussy exposed while the men are in jeans and covered up. I, too, would like to be crouching with legs apart in front of 3 black men! Dolly is the one being ‘available’ and ‘on offer’ for an interracial fucking! Gangland 6: I’ve not watched this before. The big ass blonde turns me off – I hate big asses. Men don’t understand how particular women are with other women’s looks. Gangland 9: White woman squatting in front of 4 blacks with her legs open wide, wearing hotpants and boots. Not too bad, but also too forward and aggressive for me. And these 4 guys look like losers to me.
Gangland 13: I find this a lot more arousing. I think it is about ‘what’s going on’ in the picture that turns me on. White woman (Nikita Denise) with her clothes in shambles, her breast grabbed by one black, another black with one hand between her thighs, and a third black lifting up her skirt to expose her butt.
I don’t get aroused by looking at other women’s butts, but I do find the exposure of female bodies arousing. Gangland 24: Daniella Rush being supported by three black men, her panties down.
I don’t know what to make of this picture. I do like the guy in the cap – he looks macho and tough. But it doesn’t really feel hot.
Gangland 27: Cover isn’t consistent. Jessie J attempts to strike an authoritative policewoman pose, but she is being stripped by black men at the same time. They’ve cornered a superior white woman and are about to thoroughly fuck her, one has grabbed her hair and another has restrained her arm. Yet they don’t look as aggressive and forceful as they should be, and you have one man practically kneeling in front of her to worship her feminity. Doesn’t do it for me.
Gangland 28: I am turned on by this cover. Alana Evans is being stripped and exposed and there is a black hand molesting her crotch. She has her hair mussed up, which is probably how my own hair would look after being grabbed, groped and toyed with. Alana really looks excited, which I really appreciate because I tend to mimic the facial expressions on the actresses. But the black men don’t look too macho/ dominant. One is crouching at her legs and facing the camera – doesn’t look good at all, he’s not acting the part of an uncontrollably horny macho stud. Cover could still be better.
Gangland 29: Maxxx, camera angle and choice of actress to pose is all wrong. She comes across more like the boss of a bunch of black men, some kind of queen (especially with her tuff dress and her hairstyle), rather than as some white woman who made the wrong turn into an alley of black toughs. They should have selected Tammi Rose to pose for the cover.
Gangland 30: One of the best covers in this series. Angel Long is great whenever she appears! The men all look predatory. Even if two of them are at her butt level, they are showing teeth and look as though they literally want to eat her up.
