Vintage blacktowhite ... when it was really taboo

itsraylene ... thanks a million for your additons. You have some great STUFF!
Amazing what just 50 years can do to attitudes, huh?
This could never happen "openly" half a century, as it does today. Imagine THIS WEBSITE 50 years ago ... mercy, mercy, mercy! There would be white capes and cross burnings and all kinds of crap. Mac

You probably wouldn't get a cross burned in your yard, you have probably just gotten shot.

I remember the 60's well, it was a time of awakening but there were some very dark parts. I really gets me that some young men and women mostly young men that piss and moan about how tough and unfair life is. I think it's too bad that they never asked a person like Rosa Parks what a tough and unfair life was really like. Times were very different and though far from perfect a lot better than they were half a century ago.

I think I've mentioned this a time or two, but my ******* is a Southern Methodist minister, and he grew up in the 50's, 60's & 70's himself. Now my dad is a very "kind" man ... he'd give the shirt off his back to anyone in need, but, he was a bit of a racist in his own little way. I remember when I was living at home in the late 70's & 80's, and dad would talk of "black folk", as he called them, as if they were a level down on the society chain. Since I chummed around with a couple black guys in school & football, it was weird some of the things I would hear him say. He use to talk about integration all the time and the senselessness of busing. It was well accepted by the time I went to school and the ******* didn't think a whole lot about it. All the problems were being caused by those OLD GOATS that were still living in the 50's & 60's. I think that's one of the problems in Washington DC now ... too many old goat senators still living in the 50's & 60's. :)

Hey, if you was young, living in the 50's, 60's, and 70's, you lived during the birth of ROCK N ROLL, and muscle cars, and ******* like that ... those were awesome times to be growing up.
I got everyone of my dad's original vinyls from all the big rock bands ... Elvis, Beatles, Beach Boys, Dave Clark Five, etc etc etc ... they're totally priceless, they are. I even have an unopened copy of the Beatles "Sergeant Peppers" and have been offered $1,000 for it and won't sell it.
The mid-20th century was an awesome time ... I'm sure! Time FLYS when you're having fun! Mac
:frantic:

my favorite photo from this era - this big city hepster girl. all over the country, girls from small, conservative towns picked up and moved to nyc or san francisco looking for more in life. and that often included exploring their sexuality in a new world of black men. this girl is SO hot! and so into black . . .
hepster.jpg
let me look around and see what other pictures i've got. i think we'll go to the 30s next.

OH GREAT!!!!
Now you really twisted the knife! :(

I had all the early Beatles albums as well as other artists (Hendrix, Joplin, CS&N -&Y, Eagles, etc.), and was smart enough to actually buy two copies of some such as "Introducing the Beatles" and "Meet the Beatles" so I could listen to one copy and preserve the others. I also had a collection of various "hot rod" magazines and "Popular Mechanics" (back when they were like small books instead of the newer magazine style), the early copies of Playboy and Penthouse, hot rod parts like an original Offenhauser aluminum manifold for a Mopar, original 62 Corvette parts and early Triumph and Harley parts. 4 track and 8 track tapes, a Muncie 4/8 track player, a Craig Pioneer 8 track new in the box as well as a 8 track to cassette tape converter.

I left all of it at my parents place to store when I took a job driving (18 wheelers, long haul), as I was basically living in the sleeper cab. When I settled down in California, I called my Mom to tell her I was going to fly in to rent a U-haul truck and take it all out to CA.
That's when she told me I didn't need to do that because she threw all that old junk away a few years back when she finally got my Dad to help her clear out the attic, basement and the garage!
She figured I would never need any of that stuff again and it was just laying there collecting dust. She really hated dust.

I don't know if whoever hauled everything away had any idea of what some of that stuff was worth or would eventually be worth at the time, but if so, I know my Momma made someone VERY happy! Imagine being paid to haul away a small fortune.

itsraylene ... these old photos you keep coming up with are just unbelieveable, actually. I wish my porn stash was better organized than what it is. I started collecting pics back in the early 90s as the internet picked up steam with Prodogy & AOL. Back then I didn't think to catagorize it well, because I figured it was just a passing interest. But, actually the photos have become more graphic, and the ease at finding what you want on the internet has gotten better and better. I even have stuff on floppy discs that I haven't tossed. So I know I probably have more of this topic, its just a matter of wading through discs & file systems to find 'em.
Problem is, I get to looking at my pics and get distracted and start jerking off ... :bounce:
This is turning into an awesome thread. I'd like it to also include some HISTORY FACTS ... I've always said, you can't know where you're going if you don't know where you've been. (one of my dad's favorite lines) Mac :)

Funny you should mention the 8-track ... I have dad's 8-track & about 50 or so 8-track tapes (weird tapes); the tape player plays BUT the heads need alignment 'cause you can hear 2 songs at the same time. I screwed around with it some but never could adjust the heads right. Also, my dad had a '69 Chevelle 396 that he had restored in the late 70's and I thought when I became a teen and driving he would give me the car ... notta ... fucker sold the car about 3 years before I got my drivers license. He also had pics of a '71 Dodge Challenger he had for a few years ... now THAT would have been awesome to have. But, that's where I fell in love with muscle cars, especially mopars & chevys. Mac

Oh yeah, the Chevelle and Challenger were both sweet. I had a 67 Dodge Coronet R/T 440ci 4spd built up to race, but ran out of cash, so I used it on the street. The only thing it couldn't pass in a quarter mile was a gas station! :bounce:

Yes, the old 8 tracks could be a pain in the ass, but they were "state of the art" at the time. Before them, we used to hook up our radios to a reverb unit to get a faux stereo effect. FM was just getting started, but there weren't many stations and most didn't broadcast in stereo at first.

Damn what memories! Cruisin' around town drinking draft beer out of cardboard containers, MacDonald's cheeseburger, fries and a coke for less than a dollar, high test gas for 27 cents a gallon, drive-in movies, car hops, ....

One of my first nice cars was a 73 T bird. Weighed in at about 3 tons, hood was about 6 feet long, it has a backseat but anybody over 5 foot tall would be cramped in the back. But the two front seats were more comfortable than any piece of furniture I ever had in my house. The leather seats were softer than a babies ass. It has a fantastic sounding stereo with an 8 track. The FM radio didn't have any type of automatic frequency control so when you were listening to FM someone needed to constantly re-tune the radio. Of course you could pop an 8 track in and you had great no hassle sound. It got about 10 MPG around town. I think gas was around 35 or 40 cents a gallon it might have been a little more.

These pics are really interesting ... back before photography was in full swing, many novels etc simply used drawings & cartoons. Interracial drawings were especially TABOO back in those days! Enjoy!

The HISTORY of US interracial sex should be read & known. During the days of slavery, blacks were treated as "property" ... same as owning a farm or horse. The strongest of the black males were often used for breeding the black females of many slave owners for miles around ... he was often rented out for STUD! Sometimes the farmers would have "breeding" parties where they brought their black female slaves to a specific location, and all would stand around and ******* & party while the black stud slaves copulated with several black females in one night.

Sometimes the white females would see & desire these huge, strong negro slaves ... many, many stories were often written of the white women secretly going to the barn to be studded by these virile, black males.

This is what makes this particular time in history so interesting ... 1600's-1800's.

I agree. One of my hottest fantasies is to imagine a slave who rebels against his owner by sneaking into the house and have his way with his wife over and over. In the end, she doesn't report it because she has become his slave. Visiting him time and time again to be his slave as she breeds several of his babies.

Even if she didn't report it, I should think that after she had a couple / three of his little black babies that her husband might become suspicious.
