R.I.P Internet Freedom

Well the idiots are at it again. Trying to destory even more freedom by taking away net neutrality.

For those of us that don't know what it is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites.

So under dumbass you would pay say $100 for internet access sites like stormfount and fucktard news would be free. But CNN, the young turks, here would either be blocked out right or you would have to pay $100 more dollars to access them and they would be slower then fucktard news.

In addintion to them selling our data without our consent.

With the level of sheer ingornat in congress right now this is closer then ever to passing.

I don't know what we can do its no longer a democatic. But we can try to call our so called reps and tell their dead ass not to go with it but they have already been brought some has little has $1000. And suprise suprise they are all the party of mercia the ingornat republicans.

WTF!? If people aren't being ripped off enough with general internet service provider costs lets find a way to rip off people if they want to look at anything we don't approve of. Just a bunch of greedy assholes trying to fuck over people some more. ******* like this makes me want to move to a cabin in the woods and tell the world to fuck off and leave me alone.

....Of course everyone should now know that every single thing you do on-line is recorded and recallable when needed. Its becoming the new frontier of security, aggression, marketing, prevention, etc etc etc ... every tick of the key and all your downloads are recorded at all times. Early this year one of our local internet providers supplied the SBI with a list of illegal websites that one of their particular customers was visiting and downloading information from. He's now serving 10 years in the state prison and the internet service was able to keep its name out of the press. So, you are being watched whether you like it or not, and why the dark web is growing by leaps and bounds.

Well, that is the only one thing Obama did right.

There is a very simple solution. We tell the ISPs that if Net neutrality goes away - so do we. Once it passes, we cancel our internet.

I know, I know, your going to make the claim that businesses can't operate, airlines will shut down bla bla bla. But that's exactly my point - the internet won't be gone for long. We do still have power, purchasing power.

BUT - the chances of getting everyone together to stand firm is a trillion to one shot. Most drones today can't go more than 2 min without their Facebook, twitter, or you-boob. Instead most would rather just bitch about it as they send a very stern tweet about how displeased they are at the mega-corp they keep feeding.

And yes - it is just that simple.

Yes watched over is annoying but helps to catch pedos, terrorists, etc. But this is different its restricting access to sites that don't met the ISP overlords ideas. Keeping knowledge restricted keeping people dumb.

Just another way to control the cattle.

....Well, I'll take the same position as the gun lovers take regarding this ... at WHAT POINT does it stop being regulated? If they start, the next thing is selectively restricting websites based on 'personal opinion' of what should be banned, or what should be reported. What you call illegal porn or terrorism might not be that at all, but just your own opinion as to what YOU think it is. The thing is, you're being watched every move you make for "someone's personal reasons" ... for information, profit, illegal acts, etc ... so suddenly EVERYONE feels they wear a badge to regulate their "turf". Suddenly a 'political party influenced' ISP decides to restrict or obstruct visits to websites that don't agree with their philosophies ... then all the ISPs pick sides and suddenly the people who made the websites profitable & popular (you and me) are disserviced, and, no one really gives a damn about it. What we'll be paying to have the internet will become as valuable as guns that only shoot blanks, or, cable TV with 90 different 'useless' channels.
....Nope, folks, we're heading down another Republican created rabbit hole that really has no end to it, and AGAIN, this is something the very popular, fascist right-wing feels they need to do to HELP US ignorant folks out. But, its never about US, its about the MONEY that helps THEM ... period! You don't like it, then pay THEM more money than the next guy pays ... suddenly they'll change their minds and switch it back.
.... If you haven't realized that by NOW, you've had your heads buried in a hole.

Hey @TwoBiFour Obama did more than just one thing right as he stood up for Taylor Swift getting her award by calling Kayne a 'Jack-ass' too (just humoring you).

Yes this net-neutrality over-haul is some fraggin-ackle B.S. and "YES WE CAN" do something about it.

Join the many organized protests that have formulated to counter-act the Act.

Call your Congress-man and harass the hell out of them especially flood the FCC's office with calls and letters to display your displeasure with the decision.

See the battleforthenet website and join the Cause:
