Obviously smaller girl groups are easier to approach and more likely to be wanting to "score" themselves, however, you've got to approach them as a group and try not focus on any one girl in the group. If you're in/near a bar send a round of drinks to their table. Have a few cute "lines" of gab ready. Often the "sale" is won or lost in the first 3 minutes of conversation so what & how you say things in those minutes is critically important. Pay attention to which girl(s) are actually showing interest in what you have to say.
Of course, it helps to have your own "package" ... physique, the smile, confidence, the bulge, etc. if you know what I mean.
