Honestly it's you, your wife, and the baby that have to live with the consequences of any decision you make. You should do whatever is best for you guys and not let anyone else live vicariously through you guys. I know I'm emotionally dependent on a community that is too traditional to accept something like this and I simply couldn't have a marriage like this. Well I'm certainly not going to judge you guys either way. Just make sure that you don't change your minds once it's too late. Once you've told her it's okay and she's acted on it, you will need to love, embrace, and raise your black baby for the rest of its life and be just as loyal, loving, and grateful towards your wife for bearing it for you as you would if it was biologically yours. You will need to do this forever, not just a few years or until age 18. You will need to hold and play with this baby and help with its homework. You will need to fight with both families to accept and love it. Are you willing and happy to do these things. Is she? If so, wonderful! Get her bred! But if not, then think about it. I'd love to do all of these thing so but I don't think I have the courage. Do you?
