In total 40 modernist and socialist writers and journalists were killed in 20 years. Also During these years None of their killer was found. Anyway, as a a result of suspicious elections in 2000 G.W. Bush was chosen to be the US president. One year later Al Qaeda (your boys) attacked the World Trade Center and you finally had the chance to invade Afghanistan against the boys you have them rule there. In 2003 your president told the biggest lie to the world that Iraq had nuclear weapons although there was no proof and then you invaded Iraq illegally. You destabilized Iraq, you have caused hundred thousands of death, Al Qaeda has spread in Iraq while the country was under your control (then it turned to be ISIS). Then your army has left Iraq before the state was stabilized and you just let ISIS born in this way. Then you targeted Syria because they were a threaten against Israel (actually Israel is a threaten) and building the natural gas line from Qatar to Europe. You and your allies have armed all those radical islamist groups including ISIS and Al Nusra. You haven't only destabilized Syria, you have destroyed their countries and caused 500.000 deaths and migration of millions. Now, don't blame Assad because he was just a totaliter leader in the middle east who protects his people from a possible genocide against the minorities of Syria (alawites and christians and other secular sunnis. Yes, that's why Syrian Army still stands despite of over 60.000 death. They don't fight for Assad, they fight for their homes) and haven't harmed anyone else. If you think that dictators must be toppled, I would recommend you to start with the Saudi Arabia that is the satanic hell empire on the earth. All those Al Qaeda linked groups and ISIS use American weapons like TOW anti tank missiles and weapons bought from eastern European countries.
