Vintage blacktowhite ... when it was really taboo

I really appreciate this thread. My late m other had a few affairs with Black men from c. 1950-1990. It was so taboo she never mentioned it to us even though we knew about our p arents' marriage. Our fa ther told us about it after she died. As she was from TN it was marginally safer than in the Deep South. I got to know many other Southerners in the lifestyle over the years. Same type of scenario until c. 2000. The Europeans were much further ahead in this regard. Colour Climax and related companies started showing IR porn in the late 60s. Here in the US doing IR did serious reputational damage to any white woman to the point she couldn't get hired even as a stripper. When you see all the IR porn today just realize what we had to go through to get here.

Yes, you summarized the situation well! My mom was in that generation too. She and her friends had to be so secretive about their activities. So much went on "beneath the surface" while it was quite taboo on the surface. The desire was there and the activity occurred but a woman would be ostracized if it ever became known publicly.
