I'm sure there is an actual way to determine this statistic but I voted %40 to %49 thinking about the amount that want to be blacked plus the ones that have been vs just the amount that already have been blacked. I think the highest vote of %20 to %29 is accurate though.

In my area, very, very few. The Mountain South (TN, VA, NC area) still has a powerful TABOO. In my teen years (50+ years ago!)growing up here it simply did not happen due to Family, Church, and the Cultural Community. There is a subtle shift going on however, and my pure SWAG (Scientific Wild-Assed Guess) is that possibly 2 or 3% of native-born girls are actively getting blacked or thinking about it.
