Get your wife on bord first. That will provide for a far better experience for everyone. A lot of things to do that actually bring a couple closer together. Starting from roleplaying desired situations, searching for a candidate together, preparing for a date and the whole anticipation... priceless! 
Otherwise, if you, the hubby, set it up behind your wife's back, she could as well be pissed and decide to not talk with you for, say, one month or so. Plus, it may shut the thing down completely and for forever. Now you decide.
