For far too long the act (and even the discussion) of interracial sex was ostensibly taboo, (although much occurred in secret). American society has progressed much from that situation to the point where now in most communities interracial couples (married or not) are frequently seen together in public, often accompanied by beautiful mixed-race offspring. Such advancement is cause for celebration.
Yet much remains to be done, as real discussions of interracial sex --both the physical activity and the related feelings and emotions -- seldom occur.
