If you can afford it (they are NOT cheap!) ask her to give you special *******'s Day, B-day, Anniversary, Valentine's Day or Christmas present (whichever comes earliest) by letting you arrange to have one of those "Boudoir Photo" sets done of her by a professional photographer. Expect to pay around a $1,000 or more depending on what you want and quality.
WORTH EVERY PENNY! Once your wife sees herself looking the same way she sees all the women that she thinks look so much better than she does- LOOK OUT!
Even more powerful if you find some 'before and after' photos of some famous actresses that she admires, with and without make up.

Too many women buy into all this 'Cosmo" crap telling them how they should look, so rather than try to convince her otherwise, let her see herself as she thinks she is suppose to look. Once she realizes she is just as pretty as most of the actresses she admires, her self confidence will soar.

Don't try to get her to go nude, just tasteful negligee shots. The important thing is to find a photographer that knows how to apply make up or works with a make up artist that knows how to do it for photography. Having her hair done ahead of time is OK, but if they tell you to come in with her already made up, find a different photographer. Make up for real life and pictures are two very different things.
