Personally I am offended when I hear the term. I feel it reduced a gentleman of any colour to a life support for a sex toy.

This is just my opinion...but growing up and actually raising cows, the Bull was the Dominant male in the pasture that was breeding the cows. I have always assumed that the term "Bull" was about dominance and fertility and had nothing to do with race, age or anything else.
