I see more and more threads of guys identifying themselves as a “single cuck” or “single stag” or something of the like. The problem is that it misses the point entirely. In fact, I would contend that to make the argument that such a thing exists is a slap in the face to real cuckolding and wife sharing relationships.

I am currently single, but I am not a cuckold right now. I’m a fan of the lifestyle, but that’s a stark difference. I was though, at one time a cuckold. My ex and I were in the lifestyle before she graduated college and moved away and during the time we were in a relationship, the lifestyle was absolutely amazing for us.

But when I think about being her cuck, I think about ALL of the things that went into the relationship. We met on tinder and exchanged messages, went on vanilla dates, cultivated a friendship, then a relationship. We met each others circle of friends and went through all the things a real couple does to BUILD a relationship. I worked for the first kiss, and of course worked to get her in bed. After getting to know her, we moved towards kinkier things, and built up to cuckolding. She knew I liked to be pegged when we met, but this was not on the radar. Thinking back to the buildup around her first “date” with another guy, it’s otherworldly how wild it is to think that I would share MY girlfriend with all our shared experiences with another guy.

The best analogy I can think of is this: as a car and racing fan, I can like and appreciate watching guys drive Ferraris and expensive super cars on tv. I love watching racing and can admire the skill it takes to do so. I also realize that those drivers do not OWN the cars they are driving. Imagine saving up YOUR hard earned money for years, working late hours and finally throwing down the cash to buy a brand new Ferrari. Your dream car and your life savings

Then, you hand the keys to a professional racing driver. Your car and your half million dollars in the hands of a guy that will squeeze every drop of performance out of it, but also may total it. You watch him do things in that car that only he is capable of and see that car operating in its perfect environment. It has to be an absolute wonder to watch.

Then, some slob walks up beside you and puts him arm on your shoulder as he watches, and says “man, me and you are just two peas in a pod, I love it when that guys rings her out like that don’t you?”

I appreciate your thoughts. I knew I was kicking a beehive on this, but was hoping for a discussion, which may be a dumb request when a lot of the posts are “SHOW ME YOUR BUTTHOLE” but Thankyou for your input.

I will say that I think your post actually goes a long way to PROVING my point. You showed the evolution of the word, and that it could equally apply to either member of the relationship, or that one party could be willing or not, etc. you did a great job explaining the history and how we arrived where we are, but the through line in every example is that there is at least a relationship.

To put it into other terms; if we worked backwards and said we have this population of men that we want to include as cuckolds so let’s write a definition around that; we would have a very broad definition. To include single men, you basically have to define cuckold as “a man that enjoys watching women have sex with other men.” Truthfully, even as words evolve, that definition would miss the mark greatly. Technically, that would be any fan of porn.

Darn, and I thought I was being quite "pleasant" with my reply, GVL and wasn't meaning to sound argumentive with my response. In fact, I was trying to be precise in simply pointing out the direction the definition of 'cuckold' has taken just since I have been a member of this website. And I imagine it will continue to change. I guess if I was defining what the new definition tends to be (according the ones using it) it simply says that any couple (MF, MM, FF) in a monogamous relationship with each other where one of the committed cheats, the other is now understood to be a cuckold ... or "one who has been betrayed or cheated against". That does make some sense since the % of people in marriages has continued to decrease over the past 20 or so years.
Do I agree with it? As I said, trying to have a conversation that includes cuckolding becomes almost impossible when everyone has or understands the word cuckold to mean something different than what it was meant to be, (married men). So, if you 'accept' my point in the last paragraph, since the marital vows are disappearing from society, but the cheating inside committed unmarried couples is increasing, eventually a discussion of married cuckolds could eventually disappear as no one or very few will be married.

My most sincere apologies, I really do appreciate the discussion on the topic. Sometimes the message gets lots in translation on the internet, and even worse so when I am trying to type replies during conference calls at work. I was hoping for an engaged discussion and that’s what you have provided.

My personal
... stubby, but I think the title of cuckold would apply to current relationships only. Once the relationship is over, you're no longer affected by that individual's sexual activities. You would need to be involved with another idividual. Notice I use generalities around gender as these days anyone can be attached (legally) to anyone else.
If your 'dick' is as small as you say, I don't think you'd have to wait long for your current mates to find others to eventually copulate, with or without your knowledge or approval. People simply don't enter into relationships with the same commitments as they did in the past. Many tend to be "shake & bake" relationships, which makes commitments harder to honor.
The sooner your mate sees your situation and what she can expect, the sooner you can probably expect her to see others, eventually ... which will probably result in breakups, divorce and a new "start over" plan for you. That's why I'd suggest you hold back on marital commitments for a couple years or more to see where the relationship goes. If you see her disinterest in sex develop, THEN it is time to probably have that 'open marriage' discussion, but not until that happens. In general, I see females a bit more serious about relationships than most men. When she begins to stray, it'll probably be because she simply isn't happy with the monotony of her relationship with you. In fact, the sooner she sees your 'offerings' the sooner she may decide a serious relationship is not even possible. It seems men, in voluntary cuckold relationships tend to do it more for the entertainment.
So, back to your question, the answer in my opinion is a YES, you'll no longer carry that 'honorable' title of CUCKOLD as it relates to unfaithful partners. It's of my opinion yes as I to am in-between relationships , and prior to starting one I'm always up front as to my desires and lifestyle as a sisicuckold. Some women are ok with this style relationship others are not

I see that I struck a chord with you. The accusation of angst from me when I asked for a discussion is laughable considered that your main focus seems to be my personal relationship.

I dated M for almost 5 years, and it came to an amicable end when she took a job on the west coast after getting her masters. I know there are men on the forum that have been together with their wives 10x that, and I also know there are men that would LOVE to have a relationship in the lifestyle that long. You have an opinion obviously, for which you are entitled. It was a call with her just before I posted this that kicked off the thought to write this post. But again, funny to see that I have no right to describe a word that logically requires a relationship, yet you have a right to levy the same description on mine. It seems we sort of agree in a sense.

Again, im fine with a discussion on this. I didn't expect the entire forum to drop their notions and change course. Im not insecure about that. Disagree all you want, but don't expect me to not challenge what is obviously emotionally driven logic. the "single cucks do exist, but you can't call yourself a cuck unless you've been married" point is hard to square.
