Is group fun the most common entryway to one-on-one?

I've met with a wife one on one before but it seems a lot of women on here are interested in group sex. It isn't really my thing and I don't knock it, but is this usually way to get one's "foot in the door" to a regular one-on-one situation? Wondering what the more experienced people think. Thanks!
