I've gone for several months without the craving. I think it's completely gone and then it comes back. It's not that I really want the craving to go away, but I feel like the craving is pointless without the satisfaction of getting the reward.

In no case does the craving go away. The cliche is real. It's stronger than a *******. It only gets worse. My ex-g/f struggles with it.
