I'm a white male and I first encountered white female / Black male couples through moving to London and then online through adult material. I talk about it in the first posting on my blog. It took a while for me to understand it and accept it but over time I have come to love it. I hope I am proof that there are some sane white guys promoting IR out here!
I don't think there has been a "rise". I remember seeing actual swing magazines back in the day and there were always couples looking for hung black men. Technology has just brought more like-minded folks together....thus making it seem as if there are more people into IR. But remember, for every couple looking for BBC, there are 20 more who aren't.

So true. When you're obsessed with the lifestyle it seems like a bigger community than it really is. Certainly the internet will expose a lot more people to the lifestyle though and some will get hooked.

Yes women have many reasons that may or may not make them interested in an individual man. For me, although a man having a big cock is definitely my preference, it's only one thing that helps me determine if I may be interested in a man.
The man's physical attractiveness, face, personality, chemistry, and behavior all are things that determine my decision. Oh and yes, height of a man is very important to me too. I am tall and will only play with men who are taller than me as tall men is a very strong preference for me...... so how is preferring tall men "dumb"? Everyone has their preferences and everyone determines what is important to them. Just because I prefer to meet tall men doesn't make it "dumb". I think this is avery accurate summary of what has been taking place. I think its also tells us that this is a very normal and natural thing. The eroticisim and attraction between black males and white females is undeniable and the fact that so many white males identity as cuckolds leads me to believe that it is evolutionary as well.
