Wow Tom I'm speechless. Your work really is a turn on. Well for one thing there really is an impeccable likeness which makes your art feel realistic to the personal viewer. It's making me really want to see these images become reality. I love the nipple poking out in between the fingers. Also driving me crazy imagining what she's doing with her left hand. It's these little details I know you've spent a little time working on that really shines in your art. You can clearly see that you are very passionate about each sketch you create. I've never felt so much from a drawing. Thank you again
Oh, wow, thanks, that thoughtful appreciation is really appreciated. I mean, since I don't just paste a face into an existing image (of course I use reference images apart from the character, but mix and match and more and more just use imagination) I have the freedom to come up with some details, story and so on. I think it's pretty obvious that I like writing and storytelling just as much as the visual arts. But I don't have the capacity (yet) to fuse that in comics. The thing about the likeness is the whole point here, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense to draw individual girls, members and wives, it would just be a random sketch of a bimbo (I mean, all The Pit girls look exactly the same). So that you recognise your lady is high praise. (Also please consider that drawing a recognisable girl is extremely challenging. Try tracing an image and realise that it doesn't look at all like a likeness. And overstating individual features results in a potentially unattractive caricature. So making a naturally attractive, but not flawless girl recognisable is a very hard problem indeed.) I don't know how people here feel about seeing drawings of their fantasies rather than photo manipulations (which can be very convincing but are always tied to the source material). Of course, one looses the photo accuracy but for me the fluid, evocative, half seen is more appealing. That's why you see sketches from me not just more or less finished work. I simply like them.
And since I started rambling about "art" I'll post this colour sketch of a random porn shot not related to any girl on the site here. I simply liked the extremely saturated colours and tried a new, quick colouring technique I just came up with. The only cheat here is that I sampled the colours from the reference which is a big shortcut because coming up with colours and value distribution, simplifying form and texture is what painting is all about. So I just practiced smearing pixels around the canvas quicker (under two hours).
