I’ve had one of the non hormonal ones for almost 5 years. Definitely have her check with her OBGYN and see if it sounds like something she would be interested in. They can trim the strings really short so it isn’t felt during sex. I like mine for the most part.

I have a cousin that had an iud years ago, it caused her to have a hysterectomy and never was able to have *******. I wouldn't trust my lady to one. Look up the Delcon shield lawsuits.

A friend of mine had a iud fitted a few years ago and she had nothing but problems with it. I was using (arm) implants for long time until my last one was fitted in 2013 and I had major issues as soon as it was fitted, I think they changed brands or something, since then I've been using the pill without any problems (between pregnancies) and it certainly does work.
