it came with a welded stainless steel chain. (order it a little long, trim it down), but no, I braided the one I have on out of paracord. I opted for a bit more comfort since security isn't the driving factor.
The Red Chili versions are all custom fitted to your needs with ample measuring directions on the site. Metric is what they use being out of Europe. My advise is multiple measurements throughout the day for several days, average the results and round down to nearest quarter, convert to metric. If you have pull out issues, order the cage to ring gap at the smallest they provide. Definitely get the sizing rings for the base ring. Small price to pay for the most critical part for long term comfort and security. Short term fix is to make a strap for around your waist that holds it up and back. But until you get a device that hugs your shaft from base to tip at its most flaccid your not going to have the best experience and likely give up. I point to Red Chili because it was the most cost effective way to get a custom fit and a nice, shiny, displayable piece of jewelry in a sense. One more "binding" than a wedding ring one might say.
