Why are so few younger black guys familiar with this lifestyle?

Agreed. There seems to be an age and maturity requirement for most women and couples, but most won't get a chance because of the synonymous notion that with age comes maturity.
The lifestyle is not only a subculture nationally and internationally it's a discreet one so most people no matter how modern or technological they are they are still very likely to have no clue that the swing lifestyle exists and actually that's the way that most people in the lifestyle want it!
Imagine if the lifestyle was as discreet and most people who are secretive who say "we have families and professional careers" were to constantly get exposed publicly and have their pictures and videos posted all over the place. Some of course are secure and don't care but I would say most want their privacy and would prefer their families and friends didn't know their most extreme or adventurous intimate business!
For the most part that is why the lifestyle itself nationally and Internationally is not very well publicly known. Also my first time hearing about the swing lifestyle I was a teenager and it was on HBO a show called Real Sex. It was a segment on Swingers and I'm sorry but those people looked like a bunch of old unattractive grandparents who were swapping with each other. I thought the concept was interesting but I definitely didn't find the people who were all white esthetically attractive. So there was zero interest in the lifestyle especially no attraction to the people in it!
According to the data there are more the 2 million black female adults than black males in America. That's actually old data I believe that the number is closer to 3.5 million more black female adults than black men in America. Then when you factor in the 40% percent marriage population of black men, the LGBTQ population of black men, and the prison population of black men, that could likely be another million men that women do not have access to. This means that black males from young men, to middle age, to mature likely have about 4 million black women to choose from and when you factor in none black women that's makes it a gazillion of women to choose from in America alone!
With that data in mind for most black men it puts the lifestyle completely out of mind and out of sight.
The dating apps have made the hookup culture so much more easier than the cold approach because it cuts down the necessity for charm, class, and game.

It ain't quite analogous, but I've heard of the school-to-prison pipline; why would any black people want to have a funnel of young black men going into this increasingly weird (to me at least) niche nonsense? We're just further embedding ourselves as a subordinate caste to whiteness.
