I'm not sure where you would fine truthful stats but it's a growing trend that is for sure.

I just know that it's growing. Also men are asking the wife to do it .... I'm one of those lucky wife's.
We have been full swap swingers for nine years and have met many couples and singles on dates and been to numerous parties and events. She has also met guys on her own although more when she was traveling. We have likely met well over two hundred couples and single guys in our swinging adventures. In all that time we have run into exactly one couple we met in swinging at a vanilla venue, restaurant, bar, etc. Repeat, ONE.
To us that means that people in the lifestyle whether swinging or IR are the rare exception rather than a vast growing movement as the people who let fantasies run amok think.

There's probably stats on IR marriages, but that's as close as it gets.....i guess
