I have been in this lifestyle long enough to see the rise of Onlyfans and to remember how the lifestyle was before it came about. I know many people who are on OF including wives, single women and guys. My question is directed to the women (but guys feel free to chime in). When it comes to play where do you fall....

A) I will only play if I can shoot content

B) I enjoy playing without it being for content but I try to keep that to a minimum

C) It's about 50/50

D) My play is primarily lifestyle play but I do like to shoot content from time to time.

*Please note, when I say "lifestyle play", I'm referring to play that is more "organic" without the "lights, camera, action, release forms, etc" lol

So with that being said, does that mean that you'd never attend any lifestyle events/parties where filming is not permitted?
I won’t say never, but I keep busy enough that lifestyle events/parties don’t have the same amount of appeal that they do for women that aren’t already having sex with dozens of different black guys every month and regularly being tag teamed and gangbanged.

Thank you to those who have chimed in so far. I just want to clear a few things up. When I say content, I'm referring to content that is filmed for the sole purpose of posting for $$$. This does not include filming your encounters for private viewing. Also, I shouldn't focus on OF because that is not the only platform that people use. The term I should have used is content creator.

For me is D and try to keep is separate for the most part

just some follow-up. when did you make the jump from pleasure to business. How far along in the lifestyle were you? If married was it a mutual decision?

Well for me it was not a jump from pleasure to business so much as an addition of monetization to the pleasure. I don’t know why so many people seem to think that monetizing the fun being had somehow removes the pleasure aspect. We were 10 years into the lifestyle when I started doing content creation a little over 2 years ago and of course it was a mutual decision.

Professionalization makes it a routine rather than a hobby. I suspect that's the key difference.

To each their own, I guess. The monetizing of sex is age-old, when relating it to the "oldest profession."
Personally, I've always found that sort of thing distasteful, and as far as producing "content," it may impose too much of a concern for performance onto lifestyle fun, adversely impacting spontaneity of play. It adds an agenda layer or profit beneath what has primarily been purely amateur play. But I suppose it was an inevitable development, as more and more people have taken to recording themselves doing just about anything these days, with camera phones so prevalent.
I tend to restrict my focus when having sex to having sex. I never think to snap pics of myself fucking a woman any more than I ever think to snap a pic of my meal prior to eating. It's a whole new generation, and the adjustment is a bit unsettling.

One thing I will say specifically about the OF site, I hate how they police every message there, disallowing any effort at moving contact off that platform, even between those mutually interested in such contact..

So by that logic it’s a better experience to play a sport as a hobby rather than with professionals? Professionalization makes encounters consistently better experiences. I’ll take that over the myriad of letdowns in casual lifestyle play any day. As a female content creator I have been able to connect with some exceptional men for play sessions that I would otherwise not have had the opportunity. I suppose from a man’s perspective the content creation aspect creates a more competitive space among would be playmates that shrinks the pool of prospects. I could see how that might be concerning for some.

Ain't nothing ROUTINE about getting paid to do what you love to do! 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾

Didn't mean to imply business and pleasure were mutually exclusive. People find pleasure in things like baking or woodworking and decide at some point they can turn it into a business. I was just curious as to the progression.

We started as 100% lifestyle but when 3-4 of the Mrs regulars became well known in the space it kind of tipped us over the edge. We still play for fun but it’s a huge bonus if the guy is OF ready. We had always posted on tumblr and Reddit just for the community aspects of it but got asked so many times if we would open an OF and seeing friends of ours making a killing kind of pushed us over the edge

We keep our play very non scripted. We had always recorded our sessions before we got on OF so nothing changed with what we do- now we just post it to OF and make $$.

I am not surprised that you are finding better mates after professionalization. Generally, that is the natural outcome of such a step. I think that when you remove "emotions," "feelings," and "oh, what will people say" from any relationship and focus on the end goals ("orgasms"), you will find better results. The whole mate selection dynamics change with professionalization. So, if anything, I see your point very much.

My wife needs to start getting gangbanged by her BBC friend keep telling him she is ready lol

When I say that creating content for business interests may adversely impact spontaneity, I am addressing the possible need to cater to one's audience (subscribers). Appealing to what subscribers prefer to see can complicate things, rather than allowing the sexual encounter to flow spontaneously, according to what feels good to the players as priority. Being fussy about camera set-ups, lighting, and close-up angles crams amateur fun together with professional demands. Basically, it's another form of porn, just with a measure of interactivity. What was always centered around discreet naughty fun can suddenly become too stagey.

Some enjoy the lifestyle as more of a kinky hobby, and adding money to the dynamic somehow cheapens it all.
But, again, to each his or her own.
