An estimation that comes from ...? As others have said, it is really hard to tell. i think your estimate might be somewhat accuate though, if we're speaking of the global percentage. One point is that most countries are predominantly either white or Black inhabited. And when i say "predominantly" i mean around 99%.
The 1 percent of non-black people in a "Black African" country might be close to 100% "blacked", however those do not significantly contribute to the global number. For a "white country" with 1% Black inhabitants an estimation of 10% for non-black Women "being blacked" would already be unrealistic and ridiculously high.
my estimation for a global average is much closer to 1% than 10% or even 5%. So perhaps between 0.5 and 1.5 percent, maybe?
But how "small" is that group really? Probably small when we're talking about couples who invite Black men exclusively. But i'm guessing not many couples would turn down a Black man if the oportunity arises.

I love reading this as I have said things similar for years.
