I was talking to the main organizer, and he said he estimated in attendance of 1,000 this past year, including those that came in from the overflow hotel. I didn't ask if that counted unique visitors or if it counted the same attendees across different days. My guess is that is probably the former. I would expect about the same next year. This next year, we will be at the same hotel, so we really can't grow any larger at that venue. We are pretty much at capacity.

Don't believe so. Not sure, but I think those with passes can only attend the evening parties. It's true that at those evening parties, pretty much every single person is playing, but there are still activities and play time during the day, which those with passes aren't there to participate.

I have something similar: Hubby is planning a special event experience for our 25th anniversary, which happens.to fall DURING Splash Houston (Nov 2020). Can't wait!
It can be. Like many such events, one can be as involved or as isolated as desired. If she is not feeling outside pressure (from you) and is permitted to go at her own pace, I think it is a great place to ease into this wonderful lifestyle. If she is feeling pressured, I expect it would probably seem overwhelming to a huge degree! Best of luck to you two as you work to figure out your groove.

We went on a single night pass on Friday night. We’re planning to do all three days in Atlanta and Ft Lauderdale in 2020. It was fun for one night but will be even better when you can really get to know everyone over several days.
This year in Ft Lauderdale, they had the main hotel sold out, an overflow hotel sold out and the single night passes that were good from 7 pm - 3 am. There aren’t any public playrooms at the overflow hotel. It’s just extra hotel rooms close to the main hotel and they had a shuttle back and forth. I’d guess 1000 people total at night for the festivities.
Pretty crazy if you haven’t ever been to any large swinger’s events or porn conventions. I still don’t quite know how a hotel approaches employees to work an event like that. They’d have to give religious or shy employees time off if they wanted it.

I really love that this lifestyle is becoming so popular! A 3-day interracial sex event with 1000 attendees is now spreading to other cities!! Settle down, you’ve been reading too many fictional stories. Those 1000 people are almost all long-term lifestyle people and the majority of the women are probably over 50. They’ve all been doing this for years, just not together in one location. I’d guess half or so of the attendees in Atlanta will be ones who also attend Ft Lauderdale. This isn’t some major cultural shift. There are hotel takeovers somewhere for every fetish you can imagine.
I've been in this particular lifestyle for 15 years and I've definitely seen growth. Not a major cultural shift, but all positive signs that it's here to stay and will only get better.
What were you willing to do at event solo? What did hub think about you going solo?
