Had a black roommate when I was 18 and I definitely agree. He would bring lots of girls to his room, and sometimes that meant girls I was friends with or who I really liked as a crush. Our relationship definitely got better when I learned to be respectful. When I first moved in with him he'd be kind of a bully toward me, especially when I was trying to talk to a girl he wanted. But, once I became more respectful, we were almost like friends... except he was busting loads in dozens of girls and I was not even attempting to get anywhere near a girl's mouth or pussy.
At first, I'd get upset that he was getting so many girls, especially when it was ones I liked. At the time, I thought he was being mean by taking girls I liked when he already had lots of other girls, but in retrospect I was being super disrespectful by creating a situation where he had to bully me to get me out of the way.
But, over time i started to realize that he was the man of the house and that it was normal for him to be getting all the girls, It's healthy and normal for there to be an alpha/stud who gets all the girls. It's his right as the dominant male. The bullying was a great way to keep me from getting in the way when he's trying to get some. Once I learned to be respectful we were able to be friends

At first I would try to hit on girls, then it went to a more neutral phase where I'd just shut up when he was trying to get with someone. Then it went to more passive support, like getting out of the room or the apartment when he was hitting on a girl or trying to get with her.But finally I got to a point where I was more actively supportive. I'd invite girls over at times when I knew he'd have a chance to meet them if he wanted to. I'd try to let him know in advance subtly that I wouldn't be trying anything with them, "hey my friend Sasha from HS is coming over later btw... yeah, she's cute, but she turned me down in HS... we're just friends." I'd make a point to introduce them and if he wanted to make a move I'd stay out of the way, or come up with an excuse to hide in my room or something if it was going well for him.
But I think the most important part was saying something to him afterwards/the next day in private to make it clear I knew he had sex with my friend/crush/whoever and that I was supportive of it. I think my favorite was something like "so, did [so-and-so] give better head than [another girl he took to his room lately]?"
Yep. Once it was clear that I was able to be respectful, we got along so well!
