A note about verifying

Often the subject of fakes on this site comes up and I'm usually pretty hard on the guys about just using common sense and not rushing the couples to get verified or just because someone is not verified doesn't make them automatically a fake. I'd like to add something to this and take the other side for a moment. If a person/couple is just here enjoying the site and they are not verified, that's fine. If they are just here and people are approaching them about hooking up, again, that's fine. However, once a person/couple starts putting themselves out there as officially trying to meet someone, then I think it's only right that you get verified. You really can't expect people to take you seriously about meeting if you won't take the steps to authenticate yourself. Just my thoughts. Let the debate ensue.

I would have to agree with you IDW, like you said once you pass the threshold of “wanting to meet” then absolutely you should be verified to be taken seriously! I do understand the “privacy issue” but there are many ways to prove yourself real. I was chatting with an unverified member ??‍♂️??‍♂️ since 2011 when asked to verify on kik or something GHOST then had the nerve to say “I just gotta trust that they’re real??” Fuc outta here!! Blocked them and moved on!! Now only verified members can see n contact me!! ✌?✌?

We are very quick to ask a person to talk on the phone or video chat. You weed out the fakes and flakes quicky. We don't consider any person real until we "hear" their voice.

Good post. A lot of overreaction here, but that's typical of all online interaction these days. Yep, plenty of unverified members are definitely real. People should just use best judgment: look at posting history, compare photos (if available) and do an image search. Feel out during PM's. Instincts should kick in pretty quickly. Easy enough to verify in other ways if it goes further.

At the same time, there are verified fakes. Would it really be that difficult to get somebody to pose for a pic, holding a piece of paper with a user name and a date, then crumble it up? Don't think that it hasn't happened.

Then consider what percentage of people, who join, really do it with the intention of actually meeting up. A lot just are here for the stories, look at IR porn, curiosity, fantasy or just to talk with others who have similar interests/fetishes. Some are just shy or just choose to remain discrete. Think one of the staff members said that he had a great encounter with a woman here, who had no avatar, little posting history? Exactly the type who's accused of being fake.
