While this post is not as bad as many others on this site- it is harder to read as the flow and chopped wording do not lend themselves for easy understanding as she indicates. While this is certainly not a thesis paper, engaging others is the point of the post is it not? Her point of the lack of writing skills is offensive because its true? No, I did not think the comments cool, however, if you post to an open thread you will get dissenting points of view... I have to wonder why WOULDN'T you put your best forward if presenting something? Presumably we are adults here and we should have the benefit of some basic education? Lowering the threshold of communication to text speak is very juvenile at best and is (or should be) beneath us. What is posted should ideally be clear and not require the reader to stop and decipher what the writer is supposedly trying to say. I am not concerned with applications (although I understand where she is coming form having had to interview as well) but know this is a porn blog site and try to temper my expectations down greatly on what is posted and how it is written. So in reality one could infer the type of person they are by how they write- lazy and ignorant are a couple of adjectives that could lend themselves to her point of argument (I do not want to take the time to use all the letters in the words I am trying to use so I will cut corners to save time/effort, and writing like this is ok- who cares?). I am not saying the author is either adjective- just pointing out the perception he presents to the masses and if he decides to write this way then he should be prepared for the inevitable rebuke and not be hurt by those who point this out.
