It's specifically designed FOR socializing. It even has chat rooms and non sex-related threads. I think people get thrown off when their expectations don't meet reality. Or vice versa

Most hookup sites let you search for partners using many criteria. Distance, interests, height, weight, race, even cock size. Just saying this site doesn't seem to make it easy. One site we are on has a booty call calendar. We are GENUINE. I do all the ground work, she has nothing to do with it and I wouldn't subject her to the crap that gets sent in messages etc on sites. I do the screening, then I show her people who are interested. If she agrees, from that point I give her the details and she starts the communication. The 2 times we have found a GENUINE person and someone who she is interested in, we have met and it's been great. On the other hand, we have wasted months of time and money on a few guys who were just after pics and ego stroking. So my filtering has stepped up a bit.

I've found that if you really want real life meet ups, to keep talking online to a minimum. If the guy is okay with what we are into and doesn't act like a complete fool in the dms, he gets my phone number to plan a real meet. Cuts down on the time wasters, the fakes; and the picture hunters (I don't send them, there's enough of me on this site) significantly. Once in a while we'll have a guy chicken out and no-show. But that's bound to happen.

I wished more people read this. The problem I usually run into are “couple” accounts where it’s really just the guy running it and he is adamant about not letting you talk to his wife/girlfriend at all lol. That 80/20 rule also applies to the ratio of contact to actual meets.
For every 10 ppl I talk to, only 2 will actually follow thru, roughly 20%. The rest just curious men wanting to get a reaction from their women pics or closet gay dudes looking for dick pics, smdh...
