This may be more for the wives who have decided to go the boyfriend route rather than multiple partners. Do you and your boyfriend have a set of friends that are separate from the set of friends you have with your husband? Not lifestyle friends, more BBQ on a Saturday, attend social events together friends. How do those people understand the nature of your relationship?

Do you wear your ring and let them know your husband is aware of, and accepts that you have a boyfriend, or
Do you wear your ring but let them think you are having an affair, or
Do you remove your ring and allow them to think you're single/divorced?
