Probably 'yes' to both Q's. I'm pretty sure she wouldn't make or allow be made nude porn videos or photos. We've taught her pretty good in that regard as how that kind of thing could bite her with her future plans, so I don't think I'd see any porn with her in it. But, who knows the thinking of the youth ... we all have done some crazy s.hit when we were young. At any rate, she'd be 18+. Heck I am overly protective of her when she goes out on dates now but her mom & her are close.
Being in college she will do what she wants, I'm sure, but she's been taught to use her common sense. That said, I'm not quite sure how I would react ... well, I suspect I do but it won't happen. Interesting candid answer, so I'll be equally frank. No, I don't support BLM. At all. I respect people's right to support them and wouldn't question them, but from what I have seen of them, I'm not a supporter. My main issue with them is hypocrisy. Black men k_ill other black men all the time, in staggering numbers. (During a public holiday weekend in Chicago a couple of years ago, there were about 45 shootings and twelve murders). You never hear a squeak from BLM when this happens. It's only when the shooting is done by law enforcement, that black lives become an issue. The way I see it, if a person who is clearly in the wrong or a criminal type with a weapon, challenges or defies law enforcement, you will probably get what’s coming to you. I know there are a few bad apples in law enforcement, but why would you give them an excuse?
There was a case I read about in Time magazine, which highlights the problem. In a Chicago neighborhood, a couple of young black men were having an argument in a street near a school. One of them was holding a gun. A black woman who witnessed the scene called law enforcement who responded quickly. On seeing the cops appear on the scene, the armed guy took off and police gave chase. He fired shots at the police and they responded, striking him down. They gave him first aid on the spot and he was rushed to hospital, saving his life. Rumors spread in the neighborhood of a police shooting. Immediately there were BLM protests and violence and looting ensued.
Also, I have never heard BLM issue a statement repudiating or eschewing the violence (looting, rioting etc), that takes place after such incidents, destroying the lives and property of private individuals/business people who have nothing to do with such events. Not once have I heard BLM issue a "Not in our name" repudiation.
Recently, one of the BLM leaders, a woman, bought a $6 million in a wealthy white area, from donations. Funny how she didn’t choose to buy in well-off black areas she purports to support. As I said, to each their own, but I am massively turned off by their hypocrisy.
People k.ill people all the time. As I recall from the audio that I uploaded post #180 Blacks k.ills Blacks at an approximately 10% higher rate than whites k.ill whites. BLM is about how cops and the system k.ill Blacks at a significantly higher rate and for less cause than they do others. Not going to say a lot about this. If you're so inclined... Listen to post #180. Get whatever you want out of it or not.
It's not a simple issue. Focus on the underlying issues. It's a cause and effect dynamic. There's reasons why it's like this. Any people given the same set of circumstances. Over the same duration of time. Would experience the same effects or worse...It was not Black people who created this system that is based on our (continued) disenfranchisement.
I'd be curious to know where you got that percentage ... is there a link?? I'm pretty sure that is not an accurate %.
You might wish to rerun that voice link you provided ... as it sounds a bit more accurate. Seeing as the population of whites in the US considerably out number blacks, and seeing the huge number of black homicides & blackOnblack killings in NC triangle compared to whiteOnwhite, I'd say that percentage is way off. We haven't had a whteOnwhite killing in the NC triangle in well over a month.
By the way, the black & white populations in the NC triangle are very close as the NC triangle was a major tobaco hub, as was the entire state a leading tobaco producer in the 1800's to mid 1950s.
ps - we just had 2 more shootings in Durham, NC "yesterday" ... no one was killed but both the victim & shooter were black males.
