All the ladies I set up dates for prefer to have a friend along for a few reasons.

Funny after the first few dates the bulls / boy friends like the idea of being cheered on.
They like the idea of social things like hikes, bikes, dinner to ease the mood mini putt works as well.

I bring snacks
I bring extra towels and sheets
I bring a mattress protectors
They also like the idea that the date I more than an hour or two long.
