Arkansas transfer

I am considering a transfer to Little Rock, Arkansas for 6 to 9 months. Does anyone know of things I should think about?

Off the top of my head...

* is there a state income tax? if so, how high is it?
* real estate/rental prices, if your company isn't providing lodging?
* average temperature/precipitation in the time period you will be there
* cost of living
* recreation/leisure activities available
* violent/nonviolent crime statistics

Get ready for a culture shock. I see you have Miami listed as your location. You can easily adapted as long as you remember there are no beaches, you get four seasons and you like outdoor activities
