What’s the next best option to replace tumblr?

A question Ive been wondering myself. If I had the funds I wouldnt hesitate to make a site of my own. Still find it amazing how Tumblr committed suicide. Even SFW posts are getting flagged and deleted.

That's still up in the air. Sites will compete to replace Tumblr and it'll be a waiting game to see which one develops the most robust community. For now, I'm using FetLife.

I wasn't on tumblr as much as I used to be but that announcement shocked me. Ill be honest, for about 3 years I didn't even know tumblr had stuff outside of porn. I really thought it was a porn site lol.

As a user with 97k followers on Tumblr. Twitter is cleary the best option, as they promote NSFW content. Sites like MeWee and others are not good in my opinion. The problem is Tumblr is the still the best blogging site it just that you can't post NSFW stuff anymore. Twitter is easily the best option.

I liked Tumblr because its like Twitter and Instagram combined with blogging.
