Video/Camera Questions

Hi everyone. We wanted to pose a question to the bulls and couples out there who record their swinging adventures.

What type of equipment are you using to record your dates? A simple smartphone, a DSLR, etc... What types of lighting are you using?

Also, for the photographers out there. What camera, lenses, etc...do you use to photograph your dates?

Just curious what others are doing. We use my husbands Samsung and a gimbal as the main way of capturing the fun. We also have a stationary camera, a simple Sony camcorder that we use as well. For pics, we pull screenshots from the videos we make but would really like to use our DSLR solely for pictures. Just need some guidance on lenses, settings, etc...

Thanks everyone.

Hey guys
So I dont record a lot of the sessions I have, just because most of the women and couples I meet want to be discreet. But I graduated from NYU film school, so here are my suggestions. First, the fact that you are using a gimbal is impressive. Id love to know which one you chose. Anyway, if you are using a gimbal, I would say that you are editing your videos? Otherwise I would not use a gimbal. You would be better off just using hand-held and also a tripod with your phone.

But if you are editing your videos, then I would say you need certain shot angles for each encounter and that should really make for great videos later on.

I have one tip if you're new at this. Tripod is worth every cent.
We used sony video camera. The camera man your guy i assume might get excited and then you end up with some pretty shaky tapes. Using the tripod in the right place gets excellent results. We ended up with two one stationary and one hand held that had good anti vibration built in.
Having seen a professional porn shoot they used four three stationary and one hand held. If your into sound invest in a parabolic microphone they are way cheaper now and if positioned right they get every sound you and most of the other chatter or sounds made by others. People are all different but some tapes I've seen the sound track is more exciting than the video.
