Ji-Hye's hesitancy towards her husband's eager offer was pushed beyond past due that night. Jun had invited his African-American boss, Nathan, over for a late Friday night dinner. Jun's wife, Hye, was promised to be specially prepared for the special evening. Jun clearly affirmed this to Nathan, as if the 10PM invite wasn't clear enough. Everyone in the office understood what was to happen.

Jun could clearly see him whispering and nibbling on Hye's ear and her joyful smile as they slowly turned in dancing cadence. All eyes were on them, the contrast offset was too intense not to command attention.
As if Jun's heart wasn't racing enough, Hye lifted her head off Nathan's shoulder to look into his eyes. Apparently, something impactful was whispered to her. They both shared some words, as they intensely looked into each other eyes, then, carefully, their lips met. A light sensual kiss followed by a clearly more meaningful one, just before the final song ended. This sensational image has been recurring in Jun's mind for several months now, demanding tonight's finality.
