While the boarders are open it still seems rather difficult and risky to travel there from the US. I would not care to be in quarantine in Jamaica for 2 weeks not know where I would be held if I caught the virus.
Very good statement and observation, the risk is low but still present here. However unlikely if you were to catch the virus you would be held at one of the many facilities for treatment especially if you're a foreigner you'd get preference treatment and lodgings.
Bear in mind I'm not saying you should take that risk just letting you know of your query.
