I'm on the same boat as you, safety! Any tips ??We go there all the time to gamble, the wife is Asian and she plays at many of the casinos, mostly Mid Strip, like The Bellagio, The Mirage, The Wynn, Planet Hollywood, MGM, etc. However, we actually prefer the off strip--local Black crowd rather than the tourist and the party people. Reason being, more down to earth, more sexual, not so ******* or pushy, they have friend there, etc., etc. We always get a suite comp'd to us by the casino hosts because of my wife's play, so we like going to bars and other places out on Tropicana, Sahara, Flamingo, Charleston, etc. We have been to some of the strip bars and that is a hit or miss thing. But we have meet some nice black guys in the off strip places and had some great sessions. But mid strip is no lack of action, just the ******* and drinking is of huge concern to us with the safety factor and possible loss of control of the situation.

Maybe because we both come from the NYC/NJ metro area?? But, I have to control her safety and while we all fantasy about the A-Alpha and Dom and even some S&M stuff, their is a world of difference when someone might pull a knife, a gun, or have his 2 or 3 or 4 other males there and I am outnumbered. That is one of the advantages to being at a swing club or swing resort. Sorry, dont mean to ruin it for people, but to me/us this is an issue. While 2 or 3 males is great, is everyone plays their role and everyone is 'cool' and respectful, in the wrong situation---especially in this kind of activity, to me, it is a concern. Being familiar with the mid-strip Vegas and the Downtown Vegas late night party attitude in general, we steer clear of it. Meaning, having my wife walk around with a crotch length skirt and 6 inch heels and play up to those males standing there drinking and smoking, etc. We prefer a bar or club away from the strip and downtown area with a bit more sanity and calmness. I hope that explains it. As far as, anything can happen anywhere, yes--correct. But a fight at a football field with lots of fans and lots of energy and lots of noise is a lot harder to put out than another venue of less monumental rowdiness. IMO.I'm on the same boat as you, safety! Any tips ??
