To us it's a difference between whether the husband is humiliated for sharing his wife (cuckold) or if its done with respect to the husband for his generosity (more like a stag).
And this can be negotiated for each lover. Some find cucking adds to the excitement. For others it is a hassle, playing a role. Kind of like they are “typecast.”

For us, it’s a stag/vixen thing. We are in the lifestyle in many ways. We meet other couples for fun and my husband plays with other women when we do. When we meet a bull for fun, my husband is always involved. Either he or the bull are fucking me and the other one is usually in my mouth. There is no humiliation or degrading talk allowed.
